A place of worship, held sacred by the community, yet stuck in time. Ready for a renewed presence brought forth in a way that honors the lineage with respect. Classic and beautiful presents a warm invitation for all those interested in a sanctuary of community, compassion, and the study of biblical scripture.
Meadows Presbyterian is a beautiful Church in downtown Charlottesville, VA. It has a rich history in the town, well loved by many. The vision needed a modernization with strong ties to its lineage. The goal: a warm and inviting presence, a sanctuary for the soul.

The logo faces were constructed by using a classic, strong transitional serif font (ITC New Baskerville) to establish a vintage yet competent feel. Then combined with a modern handwritten font (Paris Signature), to add a softness and a dash of elegance with a human warmth.

BRAND PHOTOSHOOT GUIDANCE
To add depth to Meadow's brand presence, we created a set of custom illustrations. These illustrations show a depiction of the flowers, plants, and objects from the biblical constructs. To pair with the illustrations and continue to expand the warmth of the brand, custom shapes and frames were designed. These shapes and frames are used throughout the website as buttons and to anchor other information in a modern and beautiful way. Also created were two soft, flowing, painting brand textures to pull in the devotional movement with spirit.
